Not taking anything away from Clintwood or any other team.

Appy had a very good JV team last year. I'm not sure how many of those players moved to varsity. But, whatever Appy is doing to develop the talent, it's working. Their JV not only had a very good football team, but they won the district in basketball.

You can't really compare JV teams cause obviously the PV's and JJK's are gonna have more older kids on their JV teams than the Appy's and Burton's are. PV might beat Appy's JV 50-0 but if it's mostly sophmores playing mostly freshmen and 8th graders you can't tell anything.

I'm pretty sure Nebraska's JV, I'd watch out for them.

On the varsity level, you are going to have larger schools versus smaller schools as well. You're also going to have to schools with more seniors playing schools with more freshmen and sophomores.

A good JV team doesn't necessarily transform into a good varsity team later on, but its a good indicator of upcoming talent.

Yeah, but the talented freshman at smaller schools are going to be contributing on the varsity level where at the larger schools they may dress out for varsity but mainly play JV.

Obviously you couldnt be more wrong about PV, there are 19 9th graders on the "9th" grade team, and thats it.
